Dearthlink
Earthlink service out since last night, and now it's 3 p.m. Most annoying. They always say the service is out in "some areas." Which areas? They just go vague. I'm like the neglected spouse, sitting at home, wondering where my ISP is tonight. And that Verizon has been so patient, so understanding, so supportive. Letters and calls all the time. I think Verizon sees me for who I am, the real me, the me who wants a goddamned reliable ISP like that's so much to ask. Verizon thinks I should have fios. And unlimited domestic calling in one package, for what I'm paying now for unreliable DSL. What's that, Verizon? Another glass of wine? I probably shouldn't, but why not, after all. My, it's warm in here. I think I'll undo my top button. I never noticed before, it's funny, but Verizon has beautiful eyes. Listen, Verizon just scooted a little closer on the couch to tell me about its really quite thrilling upstream speed, so if you'll excuse me ...
