Hello Again

Hi gang, sorry for the light blogging, but I've been hampered by a thrown-out back that has made it painful to sit in a chair for more than a minute or so. Mark Twain once said, "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society," and I think it's similarly true that people who can't sit down are also condemned to live on society's margins. It's slowly getting better; I'm sitting right now, which is something of a small triumph. Soon I'll be back influencing society all day long.

And yes, times do change. I can think of a few people—Ilona Staller comes to mind—for whom nakedness was a career driver. I don't know what Mark Twain would say about the world today but I'll bet he'd think of something.
