The Passage of Time

I know, I know, it's been four days since I blogged. The last time I went this long some friends told me they were considering an intervention. But honestly, the time does fly. I mean, you sit down and start to work on things, you pay bills and take out the trash, and suddenly you look up and to your amazement, a whole year has gone by and it's Celebrate Bisexuality Day again. I'm not sure how to celebrate bisexuality, being by nature and habit pretty much of a unisexual, but I can see where bisexuals would themselves just naturally have more to celebrate so I hope it's a great day for them. I also wondered who got Sept. 23 declared Celebrate Bisexuality Day—I'll bet it wasn't Congress.

OK, just looked, it was created by three bisexual activists. About what I figured. Wikipedia used the word "brainchild" to describe the idea. Which makes me wonder why some ideas are just ideas and others are brainchildren. What makes the difference? No idea. Anyway, I don't think bisexuals should be marginalized and I hope you all have a great day. Personally the holiday I keep wishing to celebrate and keep missing is Shakespeare's birthday. It was a month ago, and it sailed right by without my giving it a thought. It's been a busy summer.
